I had hard time getting into House in the beginning. Hugh Laurie is a sexy sexy actor. not in the young and handsome way, but His portrayal of a curmudgeon old man is so very attractive to my female instinctual love for characters in misery. Hugh makes me want to learn piano/guitar/magic/another language/various other amazing talent he has up his sleeve, and then wallow in world-hating self-loathing misery and walk around with a cane pretending to be a madman.
Sam and Dean of Supernatural are played by the possibly two most physically attractive actors ever. Jensen ackles and jared padalecki are the definitions of hot studs, I drool at the thought of wincest brotherly love, and the thought of those two constantly sacrificing themselves for the other makes me all emotionally fangirl-squeally.
last but not least, Dexter the sociopathic serial killer. I love all things morbid and dark, and Dexter gives it all. The murderous thrill, the witty sarcasm, and a hint of what might be human emotions. I loved the show so much that i went and bought the original novels. Between the airing of next season and the publication of next novel, Dexter and I wait patiently for his next kill. <3
If anyone's familiar with any series please recommend to me, I've finished watching the following series, and is looking for something new.
project runway
scrubs
dexter
house
supernatural
kyle xy
prison break
heroes
grey's anatomy

There are a few GREAT shows from HBO that are a must to check out. Deadwood, Carnivàle, Entourage, Weeds(actually from Showtime), and Rome all come to mind.
Flight of the Conchords is kind of weird awkward humor but I love it.
Also if you like Project Runway check out Top Chef and Top Design, both are fun to watch.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is soooooooooo funny.
I know you aren't exactly looking for animated series but Venture Brother is worth a watch from beginning to end. It starts out just being a comedy but I really like how the story develops later on. Everything is very unexpected, the story and characters are much more developed than you'd expect from an Adult Swim series.
Those are a few to get you started, there are more but I can't think of them right now. I'll let you know if I remember.
I pretty much hate reality competition shows, only got interested in project runway because of Christian Siriano lol. He's funny, outrageously and flamboyantly gay, artistically talented, and a extremely hard worker <3
haha i love venture brothers too. i havn't watched much of it, but from what i have seen i can sense the character development and i'll definitely try to get my hands on the whole thing when i get the chance :3
Now that school's starting i'm positive i'll have a lot less time to indulge myself in watching TV, but with out asian boy bands to obsess over, a girl's gotta find some sort of entertainment right?
btw how are you doing? I can't believe i was in milpitas for 4 months and didn't get to hangout with you at least once.

I'm good. I've been a little depressed lately, so I've holed myself up and played a lot of game the last few weeks, but I decided to start running, doing push-ups and yoga every day. It help my mood tremendously, plus I can always use the extra exercise haha.
Sucks we didn't get to hang out but I'm sure there will be another time.
Exercising is really productive, I'm glad for you. It sucks being down, but I hope being active would help with that. :3
we'll hangout during winter break ya?
